This investment will be used for Immensa’s expansion into the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region. It will fund a new regional office in Cairo and recruit additional staff members with experience in the area. Immensa is a United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based 3D printing bureau that has developed an extensive portfolio of 3D printing solutions to serve the oil and gas, construction, and aerospace industries. It is deeply committed to providing ongoing and one-off support services to its clients through a network of offices spread across the globe.

Immensa was founded by Fahmi Al Shawwa, the man behind several high-profile organizations, including Al Shawwa Associates (ASA), the first pure-play UAE-based international consultancy firm. He has extensive experience in engineering and operations management, with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and an MBA specializing in supply chain management. We are excited because we have raised Series A funding from a leading investor in the Middle East. This funding will further expand our capabilities in the Middle East and Africa, especially in the MENA region. Since the beginning of 2011, the printing bureau has provided its clients with a wide range of 3D-printed solutions that have helped them overcome some of the toughest engineering challenges. Our range includes an efficient 3D printing solution for designing inflatable structures and environmentally friendly solutions for small parts manufacturing.
