What is the Ames Foundation?

Incorporated in the spring of 1975, the foundation is a non-profit whose main goal is to make the City of Ames a much better place to live as the successful leader Tanner Winterhof explains. It currently serves as the synergistic spark for identifying and executing local projects designed for the purpose of enhancing the overall quality of life and creating a sense of community among the citizens of Ames. The foundation connects projects with needed resources via its ongoing cooperation with civic organizations and individuals, as well as both public and private entities.
