Zaxby’s Rewardz Loyalty Program And Its Contribution To The Restaurant’s Growth

Zaxby’s has become one of the most popular fast-casual restaurant chains in the United States, mainly offering chicken fingers, salads, sandwiches, plus chicken wings. It was founded in 1990 by Tony Townley and Zach McLeory, with its main offices in Athens, Georgia.

The chain currently has over 900 branches in approximately 19 states, and while most of them are franchises, 123 of them are the company’s property. The restaurant industry has been one of the steadily growing ones but has recently experienced a reduction in royalty programs as many restaurants lower the value of their rewards.

However, Zaxby’s took advantage of that gap to double down on their rewards, which they said would help reward their loyal customers and attract more new ones. Patrick Schwing, the officer in charge of marketing and strategy, said they launched the rewards program and updated their app to make it easier for customers to enjoy their broad menu and accumulate rewards.

Zaxby’s offers a free Big Zax Snack, their most ordered meal, to celebrate the launch and encourage more people to sign in. Schwing said that, unlike other restaurants that offer less popular meals, they offer their most sold ones to show their customers just how much they mean.

They have also made the app easy to fund because clients can find it on the iOS App Store, Google Play, or sign up online. Once clients download the app and sign in to the Zax Rewardz royalty program, they get ten points for each dollar they spend in the restaurant or on the app.

Clients can then save their points for rewards from the flavor bank or discounts. After clients have enough points, they must choose their desired reward and follow instructions to redeem it on the app.
