Randy Douthit Talks About Navigating Film Production During the Pandemic

Together with Judge Judy Sheindlin, Randy has managed to ensure the show has been a success. Initially, Judge Judy used to air on CBS. Later on, the show was being produced under Amazon Studios. Randy has been working on part 2 of Judge Judy and it is expected to air in 2022.

Film production is quite challenging; however, Randy has developed a knack for production over the years. The experience he has amassed as a producer over the years has come in handy when working on various shows including Judge Judy. One of the major challenges that Randy has come across over the years is ensuring that the production phase has progressed smoothly. Although Randy is well known because of working on popular shows such as Judge Judy, he didn’t start out by working on highly rated reality shows. Initially, he was working on local television. Despite being young, he was ambitious and he was focused on progressing his production career. Randy would always make an appearance when his services were required and he would also strive to ensure each show gets to appear on air.

After starting out his career in local television and before he started working on Judge Judy, Randy was employed at a cable network that was trying to bring about some changes to the news business through provision of a 24-hour coverage of different events throughout the day. The new network would run outside Atlanta and it was referred to as Cable News Network currently known as CNN.

Randy DouthitWhen Randy joined CNN, he would do feature stories when in New York. He would also take part in news talk shows in Washington, D.C. and Atlanta. He then started a program known as Crossfire, a debate program focusing on current events and it would feature two individuals with different political ideologies. Randy was the original producer of the show and it turned out to be a success.
