Michael Liyeos articulates their perspective, saying, “I don’t believe there’s any obligation for any company to donate, but Rob and I have decided, ‘If we can lead by example and make contributions to people in need, we’d like to do that.’ Personally, I think there is a responsibility.”

Michael Liyeos explains, “The way we donate is more personal than the way larger corporations do it. We contribute to causes and people we know personally, rather than to large entities like the Red Cross.”
Their commitment to personalized philanthropy is evident in the diverse range of causes they support, from sending disadvantaged high school students to foreign countries for enriching experiences to helping their son’s baseball team participate in a tournament. In the latter case, they went beyond writing a check, making sure the boys served meals at a homeless shelter, fostering a deeper connection with the community they aimed to assist.
