Kfir Gavrieli – CEO Of Tieks And Hero Of The Pandemic
Before the pandemic, Kfir Gavrieli was known as the CEO of the popular brand of shoes Tieks. These online exclusives were comfortable ballet-style shoes that exploded in popularity in the 10s and are still going strong today. However, during the pandemic, Kfir showed his true colors as a hero when he helped to save lives.
The Idea Behind the Shoe
While Tieks may look very simple on the outside, a lot of thought went into them. Kfir knew that it was possible to make a simple shoe that was both comfortable and durable, but he wanted something that would be fashionable too. Bringing these concepts together he was able to create a shoe that encompassed all of these ideas into the ideal footwear. From here, he marketed his creation as an online exclusive to drive up hype and as a result, the shoes became popular across the globe.
Saving Lives During the Pandemic
When the pandemic hit the world, no one was prepared for it. This left critical healthcare workers without masks as they worked tirelessly to save lives. Realizing just what a pinch these brave individuals were in, Kfir Gavrieli converted his Tieks factor into a mask manufacturing plant. This allowed him to produce thousands of masks for healthcare workers in Los Angeles.
Not stopping there, Kfir decided that he was going to go a step further and encouraged all of his fans and flowers to help make masks. This became the #SewTogether campaign and helped to produce millions of masks that helped save many lives.
When asked about his actions, Kfir Gavrieli was very humble and said that the real heroes are the ones who put others before themselves. He also stated that he looks up to people in the medical industry such as first responders who save lives daily. Visit this page for additional information.
