The average cost of rent has increased by 17 percent in England. The average rural renter is paying 27% more in rent. This information is based on data obtained by the TDS Charitable Foundation. The study also showed that thirty percent of people are struggling to make rent payments, Greycoat adds. Students were the ones who were most impacted by high rent prices. Forty percent of students stated that it was difficult to make rent payments.
