Formerly known as Alliance Defense Fund, this is a company that was founded by Christian leaders in 1994. Although the company was started by Christians, they also stand up for people who practice different beliefs. Alliance Defending Freedom believes in protecting people’s right to free speech and religious liberty. They also believe that human life is sacred and deserves to be protected.

Alliance Defending Freedom is known for representing people who are dealing with tough legal situations. They have a network of over 2,600 allied attorneys and 4,900 network attorneys. They have won 15 Supreme Court victories. They have also won 80 percent of their cases.

Alliance Defending Freedom has represented organizations on college campuses. Michelle Gregoire is one of the people who won a victory thanks to Alliance Defending Freedom. She wanted to form a group on her campus called Young Americans for Liberty. She decided to hand out pamphlets to the other students on the campus.

College administrators told her that she was not allowed to do that. They even went as far to have Michelle and two of her friends arrested. However, thanks to ADF, she was able to have her rights protected.

Parental rights cases have also been represented by ADF. A school board in Virginia tried to enact critical race theory policies, which allow people to be discriminated against because of their skin color.
