Marwan Kheireddine: Lebanese Banker with a Big Impact on the Global Economy

Marwan Kheireddine is an accomplished businessman with vast experience in banking and economic matters. In 2009, he was honored as the most influential Lebanese personality by “Business in Beirut.”

With the establishment of the central bank and its change in the financial landscape, each banking system has a haven. The central bank has also done a great job in raising the credibility of the financial system, providing the most stable, independent, and neutral supervision of all banks.

It has established a system that allows Lebanese to transact in any currency without dealing with foreign banks in certain situations. Unfortunately, that policy was not done, but good work has already been done to make it easy to do business with one of the safest banks in Lebanon.

Marwan Kheireddine was the Chairman and General Manager of the Am Bank Group and a Lebanese banker who helped improve the country’s banking sector. He was also a politician, holding various positions in the Lebanese Parliament. Marwan Kheireddine was elected as a member of Parliament in 2005 as part of the Future Movement and re-elected in 2009.

Am Bank is a Lebanese bank based in Beirut, Lebanon. Am Bank is committed to achieving these goals through customer satisfaction, market leadership, innovation, and social responsibility.

Am Bank’s mission is “To provide quality services to meet customer needs and achieve high levels of profitability at all times.” Am Bank’s goals are “To be the leading bank in Lebanon, to be the leading bank of the Arab world, and to be the leading bank of the Levant.”

While serving as Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs, he co-chaired the Lebanese-Syrian Trade and Finance Forum, regarded as the first-ever forum in which the two neighboring countries focused on the critical issues of their economic ties as the impact of the Syrian conflict on Lebanon. His contribution to strengthening economic relations between Lebanon and Syria has been widely recognized internationally.
