Kelcy Warren is an American business executive who is a prolific investor. He has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Transfer Partners since 2006 and was the founding partner of Warren Partners LLC, which he established in 2001.

Warren is also a Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program graduate for senior executives who want to improve and accelerate their management careers through advanced training in topics including strategy, operations, mergers & acquisitions.

Kelcy Warren also serves on the Board of Trustees for Dallas Baptist University and is a member of the Board of Directors for Texas Children’s Hospital, Dallas Museum of Art, Southwest Medical Foundation, Dallas Art Fair, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and Dallas Economic Development Corporation. He also serves on the board of trustees for Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School for Business and Management in Malibu. He also serves on the J. Erik Jonsson Current President’s Council at SMU.

He is a member of the Business Advisory Council SMU and the Cox School Advisory Board at SMU. He is also a founding Dallas Entrepreneur’s Club member and the National Association of Manufacturers member.

Warren’s investment company, Energy Transfer Partners, owns majority interests in 14 energy infrastructure development projects spanning the United States and Canada. ETP is involved in natural gas, oil, and LNG terminal projects developed throughout North America for Wells Fargo, Chevron Phillips, Phillips 66, Devon Energy, Marathon Oil, and Anadarko Petroleum.

Kelcy Warren has also been involved in commercial and residential real estate investment and development. In 2013, he purchased the rights to redevelop the 12-acre property once owned by the Dallas Mavericks, which he renamed American Airlines Center.
