The Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund
Founded out of harsh experience journalist Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin went through, the Lacey and Lurking Frontera fund has been a helpful and resourceful organization for other organizations that fight for civil and human rights.
Jim and Mike illegal arrest followed the revelation that the Grand Jury failure to follow the constitution and targeting the New Times chief editors and writers. They receive compensation after the lawsuit ended which was a settlement of $3.7million in full paid by the Maricopa County.
The Lacey and Lurking Frontera fund was established with the money from the settlement. The foundation mainly supports other organizations with the same vision as the Lacey and Larking Frontera which fund which is advocating for the human and civil rights of immigrants and other discriminated groups.
Among the groups supported by Jim’s and Mike’s foundation are Florence Immigrant and the Refugees Rights Projects among others.
